Had couple hrs down lynemouth last ngt ,nice role on, 1 cod 3lb at the south end ,was talking to a couple lads that had been down since afternoon and said there had been few fish caught at the crosswaters (northside) in the afternoon

Hi could you help where do you park to get on beach now I had a drive down the other day and it has changed since i was last there, I had an 18yr break to go pike fishing, there seems to be a new privete road yellow barriers across cheers

Safest place to park is in the power station car park.
Turn in towards power station go under the railway bridge and take the first left and then left again into the contractors car park. Anyone can use this car park.
Go across the road from there and there is a large stone or concrete block at the end of the fence. The fence is bent away from the block and you can get through there. Walk around the side of what used to be Sea Bait and this brings you out near the pipe, you can walk either way from there.

i fished the crosswaters wednesday night, only managed to hold bottom for two or three casts, managed to get one 2lb 12 oz h/fish in me club match wish the sea was a tad smaller, would of been perfect

Just got back from the Alcan beach this afternoon. Fished from 7.15 am 'till 12.30 pm. Only two bites in over 5 hours fishing. Fortunately I hooked them both : A cod of 2.5 lbs + a bass of 1.75 lbs. Some massive swells rolling in, but no bother holding bottom with a 5 ozs breakaway. Also no weed or crabs. Should fish well tonight, if anyone's heading down.
