Well I could have smashed that alarm at 3.30am 
but got to get up or not go Pete picked me up at 4.30 & we set off for Hartlepool marina met up with the rest of the lads boarded Ali-Cat & away to catch mackerel first then fish the wrecks & ground.The mackerel were beauties proper big fat ones 
& we had enough in no time so steamed out to our first mark first drop & there were fish coming up for everyone all around the boat except for me 
we had several moves & each mark produced a few fish but not for me oh no I was thinking not the dreaded blank.Same lures same bait no bites 
then I had a mad half hour 
where I had I good few whiting & ling boy was I relieved at the end of the day we had loads of ling cod & whiting.Biggest fish of the day was an 11lb 2oz ling which netted batey ?5 off each of us cod went to 5 1/2lb we had loads of big whiting & mackeral too with a few pout & gurnards in the mix so great boat & a good skipper so not a bad day in the end ;D
