Well Saturday finally came,got the motorhome packed up ready to go Rods.Bait,Brollies Lights & the dug + me + grandson Littledude14 set off at 2.45pm down to Gullane to get Big Jock then Cockenzie for Dode and finally the Pans for Et Wright and off we went for Etive to meet up with Big Spurrie to collect some tackle and then round to our mark at Ardachie to start an hour later than we planned got everything set up and out went the 9 rods with great expectations,got the barbi started and on wi the sliced sausage+black puddingit was magic wished we could say the same about the fishing,then in between feeding ourselves and the CRABS baits were only lasting 5-10mins we got a visit from Wadorydarren & his mate they had been at the quarry with not much luck either so they went off to the other side of the loch to kip in the car as they were out on the boat 2day.
Well we continued to feed the crabs until i got a tiny knock + wound in to find a 8in Dab on my 5/0 hook & half fillet o mackie greedy git half an inch undersize and that was it for the nite so we packed in at half three and headed back hame for a kip and get all the gear ready for the next time.
PS John it was good meeting you for the first time we will have to get an outing planned for the future sometime as well to meet up again all the best & tight lines from James,Littledude & the lads cheers
