What a fantastic place to fish. Started off on the rocks but it was a bit snaggy so I switched from a 2 hook flapper to a pulley rig. (only after my third weight loss). few codling from there. Moved round onto the beach as the tide was flooding. realised I should have brought my rod rest but found a bit of drift wood that done the job. A few flounders from the beach.

I kept a bit of bait for this morning(Sunday) I had planned to go out again but the weather wasn't on my side and I had forgot to pack the water proofs. Will be going there again very soon. Plus the bait was top notch from Amble. Just wish I had longer.

well done on the catch its a great place to fish havent fished up there for years will have to make sure i do soon

Schooner was great. Well wor lass said it was. If the weather was on my side I would still be there now. Just get her to get the bait and bring it to me. A really nice place even if you don't go fishing. It's not all about catchiing just getting out to somewhere different.
