Always worth a go

Asked to look after a friends dog for a few days so yesterday I decided to have a walk along the local cliff ends with him. Havnt had a chuck in a few weeks and saw the tide being timed ideal for high, I thought – go on then. Rod, reel, few bit of frozen bait and some ready made traces.

5 chucks in an hour n a bit, 5 fish. Best fish a cod of 5lb. Including a bonus bass of 2lb
Dog seemed fascinated watching me reel fish in but went crackers when I brought a canny crab in :D

Anyway – point of thread is its “always worth a chuck”
Spent many long, cold hard nights traveling miles for nout. Magic when you have a little session like that on your doorstep.

Well done mate where were you at looking for some where for Saturday lol

Easington Greg, off the cliffs.
Assuming to know the area (I see your location is Horden) there are plenty of cliff marks from the old pit shaft all the way up to Shippersea bay.
I was about in-line with the farm building / crossing

Decent tide the weekend - will be worth a bash. Might see you when am walking the hound ;)

CAREFUL where youre parking your car though mate if you drive, break ins are rife currently. Park safe in the estate and walk an extra 50meters, worth it
