Haway richie aka northeast1 how did you lads get on in norway I'm itching to see the report.and hopefully.a few pics Norway is a mint place would love to go back and try.the boating instead of just shore fishing
 
Don't Think I could mate there.is a lot to organise ie flights,digs,boat hire,transportation,boat marks etc I take my hat off to rich the only marks I know is from the shore
 
Yer we back had a good time

I am going to start planning a trip for next July/Aug once this seasons boat fishing comes to an end, everything is based on 4 sharing.

We all got PB's i got 6 new PB's we got cod to 42lb, haddock to 8lb, big coalie, big halibut, wolfish, ling, torsk...a cracking part of the world with cod fishing second to none...anything under 20lb and you dont even bother bringing it into the boat..infact your disapointed when its only 20lb but you do have to find the fish...the idea cod are everywhere is rubbish, like wreck fishing two drifts if no fish move on until you find them.

Should come next year Keith be looking for 3 others. The lads on WSF helped out so much with flights and marks as unlike most peoples idea of Norway its not fish a drop and you still need to go to the right port and fish the right marks, with it being Granet bottom you can go miles with out even seeing weed on the fish finder as nothing can take hold.

Look forward to going to Norway again next year, worst things to spend £1200 on all in thats for sure :)
 
You're not wrong, off to Turkey next week paid almost four times that amount to be baked alive for two weeks, mind the free drink might soothe things a bit.

I've also seen the Shetlands report and could fancy that, wonder if they'd build a bingo hall to keep Mrs B happy while I was out fishing :D.
 
Well we wnt for 8 days and eveything from flights to fuel for the boat and food it came to about £1200 not having a hot holiday this year as fancied doing something different. Defo got the bug its like fishing off Marsden but instead of 2-4lb fish its 16-20lb+ a drop :)

May go further north next year, going to have a chat with a few lads that have been to a new fish camp that has opened up but would go back to the same one again also. Just give her £200 for a week at the bingo and come to Norway :)
 
didnt realize ya could do it on that richie not as expensive as i thought might look into it for next yr. anywayz why no more reports mate always canny reading an pics yours like thouroughly enjoyable read everytime
