with eleven up we sailed at 11:exclam: after 20 minutes:exclam:i was singing home boys home, home is where i want to be:exclam:pleased to say the weather improved steadily all day after that initial roly poly situation.by the time we came in it was pretty canny wind had dropped to nowt and swells had dropped right off:D the fishing was patchy not the frantic stuff of late:(best was a ling of 5lb 4oz:) this squad put a lot of size fish back, which was good :) at a rough guess every body took half a dozen size fish home.few more wrasse caught today and one of the marks produced some good coalies:)all in all a better day than anticipated:exclam:bluey worked for me today,i aint used the bluey stuff much as i didnt rate it,wrong again:exclam: then the usual rag squid prawn etc.strawberries didnt work today to the dissapointment of ian the plumber.water clarity remarkably good considering the recent conditions, rippers took a few fish today also:)7am tomorrow we do it all again:D:D

you did well to get out mate. i walked along the sea front at lunch time and thought it looked a tad too heavy. lets hope it continues to drop overnight.

Not bad, it did seem to have a window in the weather 2pm until 6pm but i was not willing to risk it...nice few fish thou, bet the water is abit sandy now :(

If it doesn't then we have a few leads to make.

LK Well done getting out and finding the fish. You should have a more comfortable start tomorrow until the wind comes back in the afternoon.
