sailed at 7 30,not sure if we went over the "bar" or under it:) a wee bit hairy:exclam:

once clear were met with a long lazy swell and sunshine for most of the day

a mixture of ground and wrecking produced a bag of 25 fish to keep on the boat, with several returned.

not a lot of fish by any means, but a vast improvement on two weeks ago and gives a little bit hope for the future:D

rigs and bait today that out fished all else were daylight with ragworm and squid,

heaviest fish came in at 4lb to brian from stanley

Same off the Tyne about 3 miles out it clears nice and the bar was bumpy for us then it was smooth sea all the way. Hard going at the moment but its starting at least anyway.

i'd really like to go fishing next weekend ( are you listening god ? )
Have a word with NE1 he's walking on water in the photo in another post.

The season started so well with the calm sunny weather mid March and now we're seeing some of the best seas that we wanted but didn't get last winter. I need to get out.
