if by the pier beach u mean walkworth beach the long stretch of beach running from walkworth pier north then yes its 1 of the best flounder beaches around.
if u mean the little beach just on the south side of amble pier in side the harbour then yes this is also good 4 flounder but its out of bounds in the jobson comp m8 if u r thinking of this sml bay.
