Seeing as how it was a nice afternoon decided to do a photoshoot down at North Shields Fish Quay. Just upriver from the quay seen 4 anglers fishing so wandered over for a bit craic.One of them was Alan Barnes from Whitley Bay.They had been fishing worm and between them after 4 hours had zippo,not one bite!!!
Moved onto the Fish Quay next.Had just taken this shot when a cormorant surfaced between the boats with a wriggling cod of about 0.75lbs in its mouth.
From there walked up to the Ice Factory.Got chatting to another 3 angler and again no bites.Sorry I could not report any fish. So the final score was -
Cormorant 1 Seven anglers 0
