Another cracking day

We set out today thinking most of the fish would have been caught over the weekend:( WRONG :D:D:D First wreck into quality fish around the 7+8lb mark. All cod, i think we had about 10 or 11 fish (only 5 fishing) ok the lads are buzzing by now and the wreck was slowing down a bit so off we go to the next one. Yep you guest it, jackpot :D:D:D loads of fish showing on sounder so the lads get straight in. 8 to 10 pounders coming in thick and fast:) got side lined with a couple of small ling but the fish just got better. one lad had a 11.5 and a 6lb cod on together while his dad had the fish of the day 17lb cod. the fishing was steady away for the next hour or two then the tide dropped off at around 1.30 and the fish dropped the same time:(:(:( The next wreck was a bit slow:( we got about 5 or 6 cod of it, still good quality fish around 7+8lbs again then the breeze picked up turning it a bit shabby:( so the lads not wanting to spoil a good day decided on an early finish:o:o. all in all we had a great day with some very good quality fish, not a cod under 6lb caught and only 4 ling. \\\\\i think it was around 35 to 40 cod, at least 10of them where over the 10lb mark.
Just like to say thanks Denny, Brian, Mick and the lads for a great day again.:D:D:D

i dont think jim could pull that up.:D he struggled with a 9lb2oz;)

gutted to be missing the trip with lee, at hospital, surgeon wants to speak to me, probs wants to tell me there`s no need for the op. wat do they know. ? .
interfering with me fishing,
seriously, keep on them m8, al be down wen a can.

Hi Davey m8 cheers bud. Don't think we need to worry about the fish so much as the bloody weather m8 not to worry about the next trip out, your health is more important, as long as you can still catch fish that is. Hope it's nowt serious bud

An excellent report m8 and my my looks like you all had a cracking day and a great session with all those coddies 10lbs and over so a superb day for you all. [ EXCELLENT M8 ]:D:D:D
 
Forgot to put in report, most of the fish where caught on ripper and and made up trace with 3 shads, just like hocki's but with shads but good look getting throu the mackerel, unusually large mackerel at that, 2lb some of them.
 
Another great day Bernie, you are "Talk of the Dock" this week, nice fish.

The macky seem quality, same last year, the earlier catches were producing big fish, magic fun on a light 12 foot spinning rod, especially with 3 on.

Mind you, when i think of it..... you just pipped that fat bloke to the "Talk of the Dock" accolade., him with the lurex waders from the earlier video report, He said they must have shrunk a bit !!.........a bit...ha ??...needs to cut down on those pies a bit :) .....

aye it would be fair to say a couple of them were a "trifle" plump:D:D:D

fish on a ripper:)my favorite way to fish/catch:):):)
