Another crazy idea?

This one came to me in a flash of inspiration today.....

If you've got ten sausage fingers like me when it comes to presenting a bait perfectly on a hook.....how about pre-baited frozen hook snoods?

Simple really...just make up your trace but with a removable snood. Then simply make up your perfect combos in the comfort of your own home, freeze them, then they're ready for whenever you go out!!

Obviously this only applies to freezable baits etc but it sounds like a winner to me.:D

What do you reckon - am I inspired or has someone else already done it?

have done with mussle on cocktail sticks wrapped with elastic thread and then frozen

done it for years ,good if using pulley rigs cause hook lgths not as criticle i freeze muscells on 7/0 aberdeens , i then put silver foil on baking tray lay baited hooks on to freeze once froose put into bags ,when fishing i take down in wide mouthed food flasks and take one baited hook out when needed ,cast out still frozen on hook and it fishes it socks off prefer it to fresh on the hook no waste no cold hands on beach and easy to do

ive bound mussle and squid onto strips of macky the night before using, then just pushed the hook through it as if putting on worm, saves clarting on with thread and fumbly fingers

cheers

old idea wallsendo i used to take my baited frozen traces down inside a flask razor and black lug are a good bait to freeze together and cast but dont do what i did after every sesson i would put them back in the freezer and after a few trips i found the hooks went rusty and fell to bits !! dont let them defrost to much if you want to use them again. jamcod
