Another great day in the borders

I had another trip up North yesterday with Dave (Jarrowviking) in perfect flat conditions and sunny weather. The fishing was a bit slow at first and then it started fishing the way we know it can, with wrasse and codling on the bait rods and some good sized pollack and smaller coalies on the float. Some of the bites from the wrasse were some of the best I've seen, proper big pull downs and rattles.
Looking to get up there again before winter sets in, I'm addicted to the fishing there.

Would love a second home up there Bill but finances will only stretch to fuel and bait money for the odd trip.

Those 2 wrasse and cod are proper stunners. Love catching wrasse me. Not that I've had many.
