Fished jarrow park tonight 6.30 - 10.00, only 1 fish, a small flounder on lugworm. Tried using prawns for the first time, nothing on them, but don't think there was much about anyway.
Been having a run of poor sessions lately, hope it picks up soon.
Hard lines Andy, I've found the fishing has been pretty crap for a few weeks now too. Stick at it with the prawns I find them an excellent bait for codling. Nothing else seems to touch them but the codling go nuts for them.
I had that 1.25lb flounder as you know andy but nowt else of size yesterday. saturday night was not very good there one of the lads had a 2lb flounder was about it. Friday we had 2 3lb codling and a few sizable flounders. Quite a few rockling there recently.

Was dire last night either end of the park would of produced i reckon but in and around low water seems best atm for the codling. Mackerel is one of the best baits there i find. use big baits or you will be plagued by small fish.
