Another session same result

NO COD haha, aye av had a cracking session anyway like, went to the walkway to fish the flood up to high water. When I got there, there were a few already fishing but nowt had been pulled in apart from crabs, I asked the lad next to where I was going to fish if owt was doing and he said he had 1 whiting just on size in the hour he'd been there.

I think I kinda peed him off as I pulled in 4 whiting all in the pound mark in the next hour while he had nowt and promtly packed up and left. After that it went quiet for a few hours then I pulled in another good whiting I didn't even know was on, that was followed by a flounder of a pound and half that fought well above his weight.

Canny sesh there Pete. I haven't fished the Walkway for a while. had a go last Friday but the pull of the tide was much too strong and we ended up losing gear. There are some good Whiting to be had at the minute from Shields, hoping for some tonight as well as some Cod
It'll not be long now for your new reel eh?

Cheers lads, yeah defo a flounder I had the spot light on it looking for the curve in lateral line lol, I hate those first cast catches sessions thankfully my first cast came back stripped which boded well.

After fighting with 4 separate 1lb whitings I thought I had a good sized fish on with that flounder, it gave a cracking fight for a 1 and half lber its been a while since I last caught one.
