Another weekend Ohhhh Boy

I will be busy all day tomorrow.....tying shore rigs!
Your right with that forecast Arthur, I will be fishing the Amble club match on Sunday then out through the week up by Amble. Fingers crossed for next weekend.

Graham.

I was abit bumpy until 11 am ish then it got out nice with a lazy roll from the NW,fishing as it has been since June odd fish here and there loads of whiting and mackerel.

We were out as well on sapphire today.
The sea was lumpy and the drift made fishing really difficult, it was actually unfishable for me and I would happily have come back in.
Untill the tide turned and we were sat on a wreck not drifting at all, just as if anchored and we were into lots of fish then, I think I had 4 ling of this one wreck all between 6 and 8 lb.
Once the tide started shifting it went a bit quieter with us just getting the odd bigger fish.
Think the biggest fish was a 15 lb ling to one of the lads with a few decent cod as well.
I was pleased we had stuck it out then!
Cheers,
Geoff

What’s wrong Richie, are you getting soft now winter’s approaching? :) Visibility looks alright, the rescue boats should be able to find you OK. Some days I don’t feel like I’m missing out being stuck inside at work, tomorrow is set to be one of them.
