Anticipation .....

Talk about anticipation - I've been awake since about 0315 and up since 0400...thinking about pirks, mackerel flappers and big peeler crab baits !!!!:D :o

Kick off isn't for another hour or so...luckily I don't think there'll be any chance of falling asleep today...I have a feeling it's going to be action packed:exclam:  :o :D

Laters lads :D

PS - Charlie mate what's with the semi-coherent posts? you're scaring people ;)

OOPS ,maybe not so sober a report eh ,nice one Mark and Ell ,sounds a canny day chaps ,my head doesn't hurt at all ............honest  ;)

talking of boated Nazis...

gonna keep me eyes peeled for the 40' floating gin palace that thought they'd hammer past us at 25knots and swivel round in their flybridge with big cheesey grins to see what happened to the the poor people in the small boat as their was hit them

got a nice length of corlene netting to drop in front of their props if I see em trying it again
i presume you can report someone for this, would you contact the harbour master ?
if you were out at sea and this happened who would you contact/report it to ?

Alan,
I would assume it would be the harbour master..name and number would do it ...but a little video on a phone may help.

At sea it would be a different matter. As far as I know the rules only cover piracy and the rest is done by etiquette.

Seems its acceptable for a submarine to tow a trawler backwards to its doom, and small white fishing boats to be out on the water with a skipper and crew supping red vino callapso... ;)

...so I cant see how a floating gin palace causing a swamping is going to be of intrest to anyone.

I think the answer from officialdom would probably be ..

"We dont anticipate any problems with gin palaces going to sea and swamping people due to the fact that the vaste majority of them never get there due to the complexities of untying ropes, navigating through narrow harbour entrances and the subsequent discovery that the sea actually goes up and down.

Of those that make it to sea invariably the problem could only ever occur on the outward journey as return journey is usually under tow from the emergency services".

:D:D

Cheers
dave
