I am :(
favourite genre - First Person Shoot em ups.
preferred type - \"Real Life\" type stuff
e.g. Medal of Honour, Delta Force, Call of Duty, Operation Flashpoint etc.
Favourite game - the latest
I\'ve also flirted (sic) with on-line gaming but my connections too slow for most games now (56k) I will also confess to being an ex-member of an on-line gaming squad. \"TWB\" The White Berets (All experienced delta force operatives specialising in Arctic warfare ;) ) playing Delta Force 2. My squad name was Lt. Super(UK) and I was asked many times wether my name referred to the superhero, it didn\'t! It referred to the x rated beverage Tennants Super. (I thought it was funny!)
Tony and Mark, I am anticipating an absolute barrage of responses to this post and suggest we may need an extra forum to cope with what is a very popular pastime for many people today. I suggest we call the New forum ...................

Tennants Super Issues :o

Anyway any gamers out there?

Ell me and the IT manager used to spend our dinner hours at work playing Quake II and he often used to have a load of M8\'s round at his house to have LAN parties. Shame coz he hasn\'t done one for years. I think he\'s into Everquest now. I only ever play on the oldest bairns PS2 and like the medal of honour genres.

I\'ve been \'addicted\' to Everquest for the past 4yrs - certainly got my monies worth outa that buy :) before that it was CounterStrike, yep I really don\'t have a social life ;)

Nabbed by the Boss Red :o I\'m putting off broadband for as long as possible as that will certainly spell the death of my social life as well.

Ian,

I\'m tryin to play Far Cry, should be called far too hard!

now I know why soldiers don\'t have a few cans before they go in to battle.

Gimme a shout if you wanna \"demo\" disc

Ell,i\'am into the same sort of games as you m8 but i do like racing games as well,i don\'t get alot of time to play them though as the bairn spends alot of time on the pc as well,he\'s into strategy games, the list is endless at what he likes,i can\'t stand them, they appear to be exactly the same just using different characters,i must confess i have\'nt stuck it out enough to get into them but they don\'t appeal to me.
I finished Call Of Duty a while back which i really enjoyed though i thought it was quite short.
Just started playing Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness again, still have\'nt completed it yet.
Your right as well Ell i can see this post lasting a while lol

Quake rocks! I prefer II to III. Got a 1gbps LAN in the house, and enjoy whupping my nephews when they come over

Into Age of empires as well, Both stand alone and over the net/LAN

Just found out I haven\'t got a dvd drive, so FarCry and Deus Ex II are off the shopping list (not for long like ;) ....she\'s gone to bed I can whisper these things.)
I vote that this thread be allowed to run for 6 days then should be locked and anything of it\'s like be slaughtered before birth. I have seen many good peoples lives destroyed by discussing computer games on-line.

Anyone got a copy of Vietcong as my original\'s scratched and I\'ve just bought the Fist Alpha mission thing but can\'t use the bugger :(
