North Shields fish quay

North Shields fish quay

Does anybody know if the fish quay is fishing. Havnt been for a while. Also is there a big chain which runs along the quay so I've been told. That's probably what I've been getting snagged up on

I was getting snaged to death on Saturday nite never fishing it again fish key can hoy fish out there was a five pound cod caught but its not for me like think its ****e. To many snags:mad:

You need to be chucking your baits at least 120 yards at the quay to clear the worst of the snags, and a good bit further if you can. Also avoid the bigger tide as you'll quickly get pulled around - not much fun if there are a few lines out. It can fish very well at times but give me the open shore any day of the week.
