Craster will be rough ground and i take it you are with D.Hogg, i have fished with him in the past and he has some nice ground at his disposal.

Because it is rough ground and the fish are often a smaller size say 1lb-5lb codling being the norm i dont think you can go wrong with....

Daylights 3/0-5/0

Twin tails or shads 3-4"

fFowing trace with a single hook

Odd small pirk

6oz-10oz leads

Bait wise, crab, mackerel, squid or prawn...this year i have found alot of cod been taken squid even when other hook had mackerel or crab on....cant say that any other year.

You should do well, also chance of odd ling, coalie and pollack.

If i was fishing Craster i would start off with some baited daylights, then mess about with a shad or twintail then back to flowing trace of baited daylights again.

Expect to loose anything from nothing upto 10 sets of gear depending on the drift speed.

Good luck am sure you will catch as the ground is fishing very well for fish under 5lb since mid May.

Ow and i am not sure if he has the same boat as he did 10 years ago but a pair of water proof shoes would be worth taken as it used to be a self wash deck i.e sea water floods over it about 2".
