Not sure about Blyth but I was walking along Ryhope beach earlier and I found a Makeral flapping about in a few cm's of water at the top of the beach. Shows how close in they are coming if one has managed to beach itself!

Just got back,,no one on the pier had a sniff of any mackerel!

they were getting them from hendon prom last year so i suppose so

whys roker closed ???

roker's closed because of a womans run its a bit like the great north run

roker was open last night and early this morning

went down about a week ago and nothing was being caught at all. They should be coming in soon
