Any One Know Where This Photo Was Taken, 'The Who'

This is a photo from the album cover of The Who's album, 'Who's Next'

Anyone have any idea as to where this photo was taken. We have been told that it is at Easington Colliery but we have looked and asked around down there and have come up with nowt.

I know a few of you lads get fishing down that way.

If you know of any concrete structure that looks anything like this anywhere in that area please give me a shout and let me know,

An American music magazine wants a modern day version or photo of the site as it is now to use as a front cover and has asked me to supply it, problem is, I can't bloody find it.

Will call in and see you next week, be good to see you again, how did you hurt your shoulder any way, I could understand if it was Norman, trying get another 1/8 of an inch pushing down on his throttle ;-)
