Any spaces for tomorrow please?

So an incredibly bad start to our holiday as it looks like Wednesday on JFK will be cancelled(my 3 friends from Scotland have already been told by the skipper to stay home).

Flat calm tomorrow(why oh why did I book Wednesday) and I can't get a charter!! JFK full all the rest of the week. Mistress, Sapphire, Blue Eye2 and Predator not going out!? So looks like we will have to wait until Saturday! :(

So if anyone has space for two tomorrow, please, please let me know. Will pay for fuel, for beer after, whatever you need, we just want to get out!

Famous/Alicat might be worth a ring @ Hartlepool.
I went out with them in a moderate sea once over and the boat handled it well...waves just sort of slap off the side boat.
I'm not the best at sea either and I felt alright

Yup tried them, no spaces! :(

Did he say BOTH boats were full? He might have just filled one with not enough to take the other out...if you tell him you have a party he might take the second one out.
Or maybe business is booming and he has both boats full midweek

Just Famous going out and not got a full party for Hartlepool, so no chance of ALi Cat going unfortunately. :(

Sorry Lynn, hope you can find vacancies somewhere.

Have you tried to book an evening trip?

As well as JFK and Blue Eye there's a boat called Predator that does evening trips.

Yup he has been through the lot Keith, looks like we may get on an evening trip as long as it isn't blowing a hoolie!!!

Not the whole day we were looking forward to, but better then nothing I suppose!

Just what I wanted to hear Richy!!!

At least someone is catching fish, cannot believe our bad luck, it seems endless! :(:(

Look on the good side mark, you'll probs get 160 fish on Saturday, if, that is your not burnt out with all the sunbathing in this fabulous weather.
It's not quantity, it's quality that counts, just wait for the weekend and you do have two full weeks so let's see what the second week brings.
If it's any consolation I've been cooking in a hot office all day thinking of getting out fishing ........... Hold fast it'll be all ok in the end :)

Haha Norman, I will settle for 16!! Just so depressing on the first day, especially for my friends who were coming down tomorrow just for the JFK trip.

On the bright side, away from the fishing, we have a private hire caravan this year and they left the wrong keys for us, so we are in their gold caravan, rather than the poxy silver. :)

See you on Saturday- or as Lynn is calling it, Friday night! :D

Mark, it's only 45 mins up the coast but they are always looking for punters to go out fishing .... I've had a few trips there so well worth a look at seahouses.
Not got any names or numbers to hand but a simple Google will find them.
I'm sure they'll sort you ... Unless it really does turn out lumpy then it's no ones fault anyway.

Good luck mate, let me know how it goes ..... See yous Saturday

Norm

Ach my mates cancelled the B&B today, as they could do so 24hrs before the day and not be charged. Allan said it wasn't worth their while risking it. Anyway hopefully out tomorrow evening on Blue Eye 2, which is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! :)

Just being realistic mate, you may get out but the drift will be swift, tackle losses high, in fact fill yer boots, I'll double your order :D:D

Haha. I'd rather stay shore side than have a trip like that, just depress us even more! Will wait and see what tomorrow's weather brings.
