Loads at 3.30pm today at the 44 mark - on daylites - and at distance or deeper water than i was able to reach with my spinning rod and spinners

loads of fish this morning too! I was there around 10am had 20 -25 by 12am

Go to agree most fish caught on the heavy gear at 100yds with daylights. There were lots of times when you were being hit on the drop. I think the fish were mid water. Certainly not on the bottom.

Strange some mackerel were 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound whilst a few beasts were touching 2lb!!

well u will only know if ya try lad,you have heard they are in now get ya self away first light in the morning,or just have a lie in ,and miss them ,lol theres plenty about so ,dont hurry they jumping out the water on the beaches ,peeps are still there with big bags waiting for them to jump onto the sand
