Anyone of you guys looking to take a hard worker on?

Good on you Jonny, just don\'t let the lure of the money stop you from giving 100% to your exams. You\'ll be a lot better off in the future.

if you get good results, grades A - C , in maths, english and science you should have a go at british gas they will be doing a big recruitment drive very soon

My nephew works as a postie and loves it, is well paid and last time I was talking hime to him was telling me they are looking for staff at all levels.

he even got a grand bonus last month cos they made a profit.

he was in a similar boat to you jonny. took his a-levels and then took the postie job with the plan of having a year at that to put some cash by to go to uni, but has decided to stay where he is

good luck in your exams and quest to find work jonny !!! if theres anything comes up at my place (printing) I will pass on the details to you

Best of luck with the exams, Jonny.....stick in, m8.

Our Ian left school a few years ago (he\'s 20 now) and went to ST College......done a GNVQ (level2) in surface coatings -( that\'s painting, to you & me), a course in mobile scaffolding assembly and a ladder course.
Went on umpteen teporary things, but still no job at the end of it.

I hope you have better luck in finding a job, Jonny.

You could try getting in touch with the Personnel Dept (now called \"Human Resources\") at the Town Hall, Jonny.
Every year they take on several school leavers in their \"Modern Appentiships\" program. Jobs range from electricians, gas fitters, joiners, plumbers, etc. If you don\'t fancy talking to somebody at the Town Hall, have a word with one of your teachers about the \"modern Apprentice\" program at the council.
One of the good things about the scheme is that, as well as learning a trade, you also get paid a decent wage whilst doing the job.....not the paltry minimum wage.
