will be out on wednesday n shields pier for few hours with cousin, either be at first gate or end, got a packet off sandeel left from scotland might take a spare rod and hoy sandeel on n see if a can get any pollock on it, wat u think the chances are

30 yars sup or down fromt he blocks no more than 40 yards casting out on the sea ward side and you will get pollack, caught 14 in 3 days from Shields this week already, best 4lbish

Theres also a lot of flatties getting caught on the end. Bait fishing is doing well but the lads spinning arent getting anything yet. As Northeast said theres a lot of Pollock getting caught on bottom baits and also floats.
