I recently bought a Salt Bass rod from sea angler mag. It came as a set package with Ron Thompson Braid 17 lb and an Abu Cardinal 506 Albi reel.
It is spot on used loads of times. Brilliant for light fishing. Pulled in two coalies together last week from Blyth pier.
Also planning to use same outfit as spinning for Cod in Noway with some leadheads next March.
Tight lines Mick. ps Outfit came in at a just over a ton with postage.
