Hi lads, looking for a bit info on the above mark, thinking of fishing it next Saturday for some flats. Looking for info like, does it fish best on the flood or the ebb, are they close in or do you need a decent chuck, I realise the river is not particularly wide at that point.

fishes best on flood and one hour back, bigger tides are best.

Depends my mate got a 43 cm flounder 10 yards out on rag and bluey. I like to fish the place as tidef loods and then starts to ebb. At low tide there is a lot of mud bank.

try a carp rod 10/12lb line 2/3oz flat leads for a bit of sport rag or macki will see you ok try casting a little up tide n just let it drag slowly round if you got the space
