17 members fished Tynemouth Pier from 10 til 3 and 9 weighed in. For the second match in a row there was a specimen fish caught. This time by John Cain who caught a nice plaice of 2 lb 13 ozs.

1st John Cain 1 plaice, 2 mackerel 4 lb 13 ozs
2nd Tony Taylor 2 flounder,2 dabs,1 cod,1 plaice 4 lb 7 ozs
3rd Neil Carter 2 mackerel, 3 flounder 3 lb 5 ozs
