anyone else having to press the back button twice ? I googled it and found a hit that metioned ad software on a forum may cause it. Is it the new software? I had a few other odd things happening with other progs though and think I'v got the lurgy so that might be the reason. Other forums work ok

Just been doodling on a couple of different forums and had no problems.

Carried out a full scan yesterday but still have the same bother on this site.

Not being a computer buff its got me knacked:confused::confused:

I have the same problem here tho' its not really a problem. It would be interesting to find out what has caused it. Any more ideas?

Just ran another scan and a couple of files showed up so they were deleted.

Everything appears ok now.

NO ITS NOT!! worked a couple of times then same problem

no bother here, using the fox, safari or mozilla, I'm guessing its a windoze thing (!) depending on how up to date your up dates and that are, service packs etc...

use firefox and get rid of explorer permanently, just by abandoning explorer you windoze chaps will reduce your vulnerability to viruses/spware significantly

this month was a major turning point web wise, looks like microsoft and explorers dominance could be over. 3 years ago about 96% of web use was Explorer. from google analytics:

Firefox
Sep 18, 2007 - Sep 24, 2007 45.84%
Sep 25, 2007 - Oct 1, 2007 46.19%

Internet Explorer
Sep 18, 2007 - Sep 24, 2007 46.42%
Sep 25, 2007 - Oct 1, 2007 46.07%

Opera
Sep 18, 2007 - Sep 24, 2007 3.89%
Sep 25, 2007 - Oct 1, 2007 3.79%

Safari
Sep 18, 2007 - Sep 24, 2007 2.82%
Sep 25, 2007 - Oct 1, 2007 2.91%

betcha microshaft will come up with some new wheeze technology wise to try cripple what the fox does

Try an online scan ..trend micro is recommended.

If whatever is causing it is running it has obviously got round your installer scanner.

No problems here BTW.

Cheers
dave
