Just wondering if anyone has tested and I mean thoroughly tested out any Bait Additives like Amino Acids, Pilchard Oil etc over a full season and if so what results and what conclusion did you come to if any.
Now before anyone comes back with "nothing beats fresh bait" I know that fine well I've been fishing long enough to understand that.
What I'm interested in finding out is there any benefit in using Bait Additives alongside your regular bait. I've always liked to experiment with different things in my fishing and I'm seriously thinking about giving it a proper go over the coming winter.
Lot's of Carp, Pike Anglers swear by it. I know there's quite a difference between fresh and salt water fishing and the effects of Tide and Current but the principle remains the same by drawing fish into the vicinity of your bait and make no bones about it fish can detect minute amounts of scent from a long long way.
