bait for heavy ground kelp

Boomer in the bay into the deep trench where the boats sail in and out, you can walk on the kelp there and its deep. If I don't have loads of crab with me, I put my muscle and razor in the same bait pot as my crab so sent mixes onto it all. Bog hall has a bit kelp too.

can you recommend somewhere for low water tomorrow ,was staying local to me(Tynemouth-whitley)but would probs go a bit further.pm me any info if you could-parking ect as not fished much on the rocks further north

Could give Whitley Bay pipe a try, didn't have any luck last time I went but you never know

Half a fresh and a full frozen the frozen will release the scent quicker and the fresh will keep it going for longer.

That's what I like do Nicky....you have the attraction of the fresh crab and the instant "mushy" scent trail of the frozen.
If I'm getting poddler rattles then I give the frozen a miss.
