It's gonna be too late for you now I guess but as a last resort you could always do a supermaket fish stall. Asda does mackerel and sprats most times as well as packets of frozen squid etc.

Morrisons does mussel in shells.
I got a bag of frozen shelled mussel from Tesco yesterday to store in the freezer.

I try to keep a bit in our freezer. Only have one drawer so have to be careful. Got some blacks, Mackerl, squid and bluey in case I decide to go at short notice. Tend to rotate my stuff with what I buy from tackle shop.

Thanks for the replies lads. Didn't get any bait so went to the pub instead. Winner winner in my eyes.

Me mate tried the locker, I'm not on Facebook. Far too much slaver on there for me. And I've normally got summit in the freezer. The one time I want to go out n I've got nowt. Typical.

A wise decision by the looks of things... I missed the STC Open today as the bairn had regional squad judo training in Middlesbrough; it comes to something when spending half a day in Smoggieland seems a better bet than a fishing trip
