January into February was always regarded as the prime time to be in with a shout for a monster cod over there but I haven\'t read of any great reports this year. That\'s not to say you shouldn\'t try, if you do Good Luck and be careful.

its probably around the best time to go, but as the lad previously said be careful its a good hike to the mark and a very hairy walk up and down the cliffs to the rocks. wouldnt recommend going in the dark if its your first time or make sure you go with someone who knows the area and has fished it before. oh and watch the swell it comes out of nowhere!

Fished over that way all winter dabs & small whiting thats about it. 50 rods out for winter league fortnight ago nobody caught a thing not even a doggie

Just had a look on the Scottish section of Mike Thrussell`s site, and the lads on there reckon it`s not worth fishing unless you are happy with a few dabs.
