i know its a sore topic but what happens to those members {ex].I MEAN,are they banned for ever? or is it just for a certain lentgh of time. do us them firstly get a say warning.are banned members allowed to view site anymore,lastly how can we find out which members are banned.ps personaly i would like all banned members given a 2nd chance. ok been some hot threads laterly,some members may of went over the top. would think only mods know all the answers.

so how do you know he was warned several times,ps do you know how many warnings you get or can you just get banned for say one abusive threat. as said possibly only the mods will know all the answers.cheers.reg.

I did post a thread a few weeks ago, trying to lightheartedly get folks to cool it. yellow card/red card

seems to have made little difference. 2nd chances? how many insults and threats count as second chances. Some have had dozens of 'second chances'

all the mods and admin are fed up of the threats and personal insults that have been flying about lately. It should have been nipped in the bud weeks ago. Certain lets shall we say 'discussions' were left far longer than they should have been to see if they would sort themselves out, they didn't so mods and admin stepped in.

It's a thankless task, but what do you do? leave it so the threats/insults escalate further and further? At what point do folks suggest its time for a mod/admin step in and call a halt?

I cannot believe how bad the Chat area has got.

I constantly tell KeithB (as I work with him) to just ban them and be done with it.

never relized some members had,had several 2nd chances.thought it was yellow red then gone,so they only have them selves to blame. one thing you didint say,how long does ban last,will they ever be allowed back on nesa.reg.:question:

Thats all well and good.... Do you mean you do not agree with what is being
talked about ? Or the way current news events are being discussed.
I welcome a reasonable discussion about anything, and the chat is the place
to do it.
