Bargain hooks

Just bought 600 small hooks , 10 different sizes look good quality to. Bought from China for £3. I normally pay £1.50 for 10 hooks for the mini species down the side of the pier walls took 2 weeks to come

Can you test their strength at all? Sounds like a great deal if they are decent quality and reliable.

It is unbelievable being able to buy 600 hooks for £2.95 and free postage from China!! How can there be a profit in that? Mind boggling!!

I got 2 x 100 packs of 3/0 circle hooks for the pulleys for the sum of 1p each and free postage.Idont think they will put them on for offers starting at 1p again.

They look quite good" the nigger hook is the same a chinu.

Everyone likes a bargain but I can't understand those who spend hundreds on rods and reels and skimp on one of the most important links in the chain, a quality hook ?????
They can't be much cop at that price

Like Mick said, Not as if you need Mantas etc fishing for micro species down pier walls etc, And like I said in the previous post they seem better quality than some big name brands I have bought from other places, They aren't flimsy and will not bend or snap easily....Not as if they will with micro species anyway, It's not as if these hooks are used with our beach casters and multis while cod fishing

Cheers mick, I've ordered a pack, they look the same as the Sakuma Chinu, which is what I normally use for the float fishing. They'll be ideal for a bit of the the old wrasse attack action, 'roll on the summer'

Chris 100% well said I bought some from a local tackle shop this year with a good brand name attached to them and 7/10 snapped tying the knots to them brittle as ..... As said not pulling pb fish out with them
