Just won an auction on e-bay for a Century Tip Tornado Boron Grand Prix for £150,do you reckon I got a bargain? and has anyone heard of or used a tip tornado Boron,your feedback would be very welcome

think the boron part of the title comes from the fact it s had boron added to the carbon and kevlar during the manufacture.

hope your a good caster mate as they are a tournemant rod and a real animal, makes a tt sport look like an elastic band, but an excellent rough ground rod will pull the sea bed in with it

seen this on ebay other day they are rare......... as already said are u a good chucker?? these rods are animals. me mate got one , ad it for a week and got rid, it was a proper broom shank ... ok if your plopping in kelp to bully the fish out. but if u try and send it and get it rong it will pull ure arms out.

reminded me of a daiwa tournament X ..... horrible.

my mate sold his for 130 and it had just been rebuilt. the blank was a bit hammered mind.

i've got a ttgp (reddish colour), had it from new, it's a real animal but i would never get rid because i love it!
Just give it some time when you get it, it'll be all the rod you'll ever need

hes got the tournament one tho mate big difference to the normal gp..... i agree with you the the standard red grand prix is a lovely rod

The rod in question was a limited edition rod.

If you really want to know more about it you could contact Century and i am sure they will give you the info required.

2 pokey for you wally narrow back thats why you sold it. horrible rods.

you couldnt bend it past the 2nd top eye with ure pin whiting u dosssaaa
