has anyone had any bass on plugs off sluice beach in the past few years?

not sure about the beach but ive heard of people catching them off the rocks

If they are there at all they are bloody elusive, being fishing there all year and never had a sniff of a one anywhere from the breakwater edge to the back of collywell bay.

I've had plugs, mepps, wedges, tobys, holographic sandeels and lures all out and had only coalies and small pollack back - but I'm ever the optimist and hope to land one decent fish from the rocks there this year, whether its a Bass, cod, pollack or wrasse!
