Headed out for a few hours tonight with the spinners and popper with greg. Long story short i got my first Bass in style with a nice fish just on size on the light gear with a surface popper, saw the fish rise and miss then hit me on the second attempt, I've just about stopped smiling, unfortunately i'd left my phone in the car so no pick. Returned safely so i can try and get him again next time.

It's a fantastic feeling taking your first bass on spinner or plug. Welldone and congratulations roll on the next one

Nice one mate. I had two over the weekend on plugs and lost another one. I think they have finally turned up properly. What lure did you gt it on and any size to the fish?

I was just using a cheap popper I got of ebay called a siria90 mm long
