Finished work at 2300 last night and went straight out to a local mark between Easington and Blackhall. Used mackerel squid and worms,two rods two different rigs, two hook flapper + single clip down .Had nibbles up until turn of the tide and then 3 codling, just over 1lb and a flattie.
All took on mackerel strips I'd caught fresh last week .The sea was quite choppy but ok.All in all a nice few hours .
Returned home about 5 when the water was settling down and had some kip to recharge my 'batteries'.
