Out for a walk this morning with my dad and the dogs along the hall beach when we stumbled upon this decent size cod washed up dead on the beach near some rocks, we thought it was a fish that had been caught and someone had released but didn't have the fight to go back properly. That was until I noticed something inside its mouth we picked it up and pulled out what ever was stuck inside it took a bit of pulling and to our amazement out came a decent sized flatfish obviously too big for this cod.
My Dad estimated it to be about 5lbs, but from the photos what size do you think?
