I was up there lastnight (Sat) 20.30 - 0100 with brother in law fishing the point.

Got codling about 1lb and small rockling, brother in law had a canny coley looked like a seal had being playing with it, bite marks in its back.

There whwere a couple of lads right on point who left at around 23.00.

Good night, glad to get back out again.

why cullernose when you got the black hole and the hole in the dyke within a few hundred yards of cullernose, and they are much more productive marks, and deeper water too

when u r standing on cullernose point look north around 200yrds that is black hole a little gully cut in2 the rocks. another 200 yrds or so north of that is hole n the dyke,a big gully cut in2 the rocks, the point looking over 2 the muckle carr (island) i've found hole n the dyke fishes better half tide up.

I second that, these marks are Good fishing. Cullernose is highly overrated :£

fished cullernose/swine dene yesterday fresh crab frozen mussells and razor. had one tiny bite on my last cast. took five mackerel off the point to freeze for bait. jamcod saved a blank with a nice coalie. but im not a lover of cullernose.

I fished Beadnell yesterday, when I got there I seen two lads and asked if they had getting owt? They replied just one and when I looked down I seen the biggest Shore caught cod I've seen, a beast it was and a lovely colour!!! Well done that lad!!!

I got three Coalies!!!!!!
