Hi all. I'm off to Beadnell next week and wondered if anyone knows of any fishing marks suitable for children.

Thanks in advance.

Mods. Any chance of having a permenant marks thread. I know there are the maps on the home page but a thread would enable people to share their local knowledge/experiences (If they will, some people are very shy!)

Thanks again.

Thanks again.

There are a few Beaches in that area that would fish well for Flatties and the like I would imagine

As to a marks thread...

This is from the main part of the site

Not really sure about how a permanant marks thread would work mate. If everyone was to make just one report on a different mark, you would be searching through it for a very long time to find the information you needed.

I find the best way is to try the search facility at the top of the page. I am not against your idea, just not really sure how it could work.

I did a quick search on Beadnell and there is quite a lot of info there though.

Hope this helps a bit.

Got to be careful of a lot of the marks up that way as you be cut off pretty quickly on some of them. The pier fishes well 2hrs before and 2 after when there's a good northerly. Seen some nice fish taken from there when conditions are right

How did you get on mate? I'm always on the look out for places to take the bairns aswell, seem to always end up either at Blyth or Amble harbour (keeps them happy just fishing for little coalies/whiting over the sides).
