Just got back from Beadnell. Unfortunately I blanked on every session (even tried collapsable Lobster pots, all I caught in them was seaweed ). It was a different story for my 10 year old daughter who hasn't let me live it down after catching this 2.5lb Plaice.

Don't think I'll be taking her fishing again..........

Just the beach and harbour. My wife and kids were fishing with me, they aren't very good on the rocks!

i am almost certain its a flounder, if it weighs 2.5lb thats a cracking size for a flounder!!
