You're right Arthur, it's not just about the fishing, it's all about the surroundings and the raw beauty of northern Norway. We had 24 hour daylight and on most days it was 24 hour sunlight with eagles, foxes, sku's, reindeer and dolphins.
It's not cheap, it's very remote, there's no pubs, clubs or shops and it takes a bit of organising but worth every penny. We fish Sandland Brygge because no matter what the weather gods throw at you there is always somewhere you can fish within the fjord system, it may not be your first choice mark but you'll catch fish. Every fisherman should put a Norway trip on their bucket list but don't forget the camera, the fishing's great but as you say, it's all about the surroundings.
