Anyone else going to the Royal Quays bash on the 16th?

From the letter it seems ok for a few hours and the boat comp maybe worth looking into.

yeah rich we`ll be fishing the boat comp again .......... think it`s just for marina berth holders ...........

If the weather looks good i will prob fish the comp also and have a pork sarnie :)

Can you take others on the boat with you for the comp...i.e a person that does not had concetions with the Royal Quays?

We're gonna break down just in front of the lock I fear - apologies in advance :D

That's if we don't break down before we get there!

Can you enter on foot ?

Anything that hits you when your unaware can cause problems - even a huge lottery win. Always be aware and slightly frightened, I even walk down the street hunched over with my hand in front of my face in case a meterorite bounces off the road and knocks my last tooth out. My doctors say this is understandable due to the circumstances - ex russina spy etc. (me not him)

Or Spencer ...
Spencer Bond licenced to fettle!!

hmmm maybe not a good idea to down a few whilst watching the olympics ...anyways royal quays...full of rafts and that:rolleyes:

Getting back to the thread....Norman since you have been before is it worth spending a few hours down with the family and what is the crack with the boat comp? i.e h.f etc

It is supposed to be a good night on the boat so I hear although I`ve never been to the night do ...........

The comp is also good (I think the entry is either free or minimal) if I remember its something like heviest total weight of individuals 3 species ............ie you weigh in a cod a ling and a whiting (for instance).
Might change format this year not quite sure but always been a great day, if your down there before Saturday call in and speak to Dave Woods in the Amble Boat office.
