was out of berwick with county house sac
never known owt like it, little wind decent drift and hundreds of codling.
yes hundreds.
we took 243 codling most returned between ten anglers a couple of maccy n coaly.
they were all decent stamp between 2/12 n 3lb a few going 5 plus.
they were taking owt you put in front of them.
never known owt like it.

Well done Tony. We went out of H'Pool yesterday. The fishing was poor the whole boat caught around a dozen codling to 4lb, and a few undersized ones. There was only one macky caught but it's a huge one though. The one consolation was that the weather and the sea were nice for most of the day.
