what are the best baits 2 use a sheilds pier, i mean whats bein taken the most?

If you can get crab use that but it can be expensive. Otherwise you can't go wrong with rag worm and if wanted to tip it off with a little mackrel or squis piece. There's only really flatties and coalies about at the moment and both will take this
