personal preference really, penn spinfisher LC is a very strong reel hence its popularity round here on the heavy ground

Wait till October I think the penn slammer 3 coming out , it's meant to be better than spin fisher just don't know if it a long cast spools

Best fixed spools I've used (both on very rough ground and in Norway) have been the Shimano Ultegra's - the 14000 or 10000
