Bib n brace

Hard to find decent waterproof tops and bibn brace now,but here are a few of my opinions on ones ive had-Vass light and waterproof but dont know how durable theyd be after constant use ? i mainly use them in the summer.Had a sundridge floaty for a few years which was excellent,so last year got a sundridge retex suit i think the carp lads use em. First time on legs were soaked after a downpour so wouldnt recommend. Then got a Sundridge en tec two piece floaty for Norway last year, same again wet again after out in rain and brand new,so it would appear their gear has gone downhill.Another option would be to get some breathable chesties i got some Bison bootfoot ones 2 winters ago and they have been champo light breathable waterproof with built in wellies for £100.

Any recommendations on a waterproof set?

imax for the winter marc both springer and myself have them.
waterproof and nice and warm with TF gear thinsulate waterproof boots

when boat fishing use my greys GRX trousers with a right gear smock top

The sundridge one's think there called storm, about £35 are really really warm n comfortable, but let water in like a siev,I reproofed mine n had no probs since...In real bad weather I like chesties n my vass smock, sure keeps the rain out...

Yeah beginning to think my waders are just the better option... Just more awkward to walk in that's all.... Thanks for the replies lads

Just taken delivery of a set of IMAX thermo bib n brace. Look and feel superb. Yet to try them in the rain though. I'll be the best dressed blanker on the beach...:D

got a pair of vass tex 350 bib brace trousers last week at frazers spot on just got them for boat fishing to go with the right gear smock.
for the winter pier or beach cant fault the imax jacket and trousers spot on

I've got an Imax thermo - lovely and warm but doesn't stand up to heavy rain. The odd shower fine but it tends to absorb the water. I'm going to give it a spray with nikwax and see if that solves the problem.
